Columbus students are offered the opportunity to join BAND or ORCHESTRA in the fall of their sixth grade year.

BAND and ORCHESTRA students meet for one hour per week with group lessons during the week,
 

Our band director, Ms. Kaitlyn Hartman and orchestra teacher, Mr. Bryce Sanville, offer students diverse, fun, challenging musical pieces ranging from classical to pop.
Each spring, BAND and ORCHESTRA students join other district school ensembles for a fabulous musical extravanganza performance.
We are pleased that the Forest Lake Area School District offers these dynamic music programs to Columbus students!
