Our media, innovation, and arts specialist empowers young learners to navigate our ever-changing world as curious readers, skilled digital innovators, and confident artists. In the art room, students explore drawing, collage, painting, and sculpture through guided lessons.

Within the media center, students explore various texts through read-alouds, book search, and book checkout. Digital literacy and digital citizenship are also a focus in media to prepare students to thrive in a digital world.

For a few sessions, computational thinking skills become the sole focus. Students in lower elementary are introduced to the logic of sequencing via Code & Go Mice, while upper elementary students are challenged with hardware and programming through Micro:bits.
